Ed Hocknell

Being brought up on the family farm, Ed has been involved with ironwork, repairing agricultural machinery, and making tools to work for the farm, since childhood.

Over the years his interest developed to finding more creative ways to work with metal and led to working at the forge. Ed makes functional items from specialised horse-drawn trailers, to bespoke wood-burning stoves and interior pieces for the home. From making gates and railings, Ed has been led to train in gate automation and can now offer the client his expertise from start to finish. This has proved very advantageous in the success of all his projects, achieving satisfaction of all the clients.
